Michigan to require all schools to have cardiac emergency plans in place

As of April 2024, Michigan has become the latest state to require schools to have comprehensive cardiac emergency plans be in place by law. “Immediate, high-quality CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of surviving a cardiac event outside of the home,” making these new rules essential moving forward.
