In the Matter of John Doe v. Michigan Department of Community Health, Case No. 15-003681-AA, June 16, 2015
Blanco Wilczynski was successful in obtaining a reversal and remand on appeal to the Circuit Court of a 10 year Paramedic license revocation by an Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”). On appeal, the Circuit found that the ALJ’s failure to provide any explanation or rationale for a 10-year revocation of a Paramedic’s license was erroneous and remanded the case for reconsideration, holding that the connection between the findings of fact relating to the offenses that led to the revocation and the discipline imposed must be articulated.
The matter was handled by Partners Orlando L. Blanco and Derek S. Wilczynski. The full text of the opinion can be found here.
